Gabriela Varas

Gabriela comes to Movement Law Lab with over a decade of work experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors.  From accounting and administration, to development and public relations, she has had an opportunity to grow a diverse skillset that she is excited to bring with her to her position as Program and Development Associate at the Lab.

Gabriela was raised in the New Orleans area and is a proud first-generation American who feels closely connected to both her Colombian and Ecuadorian heritage.  She received a B.S. in International Studies with a minor in Political Science from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and pets, watching stand-up comedy, and making flower arrangements.
